Strike Coaching Team

Tracie Anderson
Originally from Minnesota, Tracie started playing ultimate in 2008 at UW Eau Claire. After graduating, she moved to Kentucky where she continued to play competitively in mixed ultimate, and helped coach the women's college teams at Bellarmine University and the University of Louisville. Before moving back to MN, Tracie played for Nashville Nightshade the year before the PUL was established!
Tracie's passions include being a behavior analyst, playing ultimate, traveling, and animals. In her own words: "A secondary passion of mine is to find a good balance between humor and intensity in almost everything I do, but mostly humor. I'm excited to continue to be a part of professional women's ultimate, expand my coaching experience, and work with a lot of amazing people on Strike!"

Cameron Barton
Cameron has been playing or coaching ultimate for the last 15 years. He got the privilege of growing up in the Seattle youth ultimate scene. Cameron played ultimate every chance he could growing up, notably for Fryz, various YCC teams, and the 2012 U20 team USA. He credits much of his coaching success on the incredible coaches he had on these teams.
Cameron moved to Minnesota for college and played at Carleton College. After graduating he began coaching Carleton’s DIII women’s team, Eclipse, who led him to fall in love with coaching ultimate. He has coached at Carleton ever since, as well as coaching Crackle in 2019. He is so excited to be a part of Strike’s coaching squad, and to be a part of the promotion of women’s ultimate.

Carlos Lopez
Carlos started playing ultimate as a 9th grader in 2007 for his high school, played on the U20 mixed YCC team, then went on to play at the University of Minnesota, followed by a variety of club teams in both the open and mixed divisions.
His coaching career started in 2011 as an assistant for the Minnesota U20 Mixed YCC team, a role he held for five years before becoming the head coach for the next three years. Carlos currently coaches high school at Blake HS and college at the University of Minnesota, with the Ninjas.
Carlos was recently elected to the MN Ultimate board of directors, and in his words: "I look forward to continuing to find ways pay forward what all of my coaches have done for me. I'm ecstatic at the opportunity to learn from and work with all the players, coaches and people involved with Strike!"
